AutoMeBiz (ABN 30 603 583 156), based in Sydney, NSW, sets up and runs AI receptionist and admin tools for Australian trade businesses. This notice explains how we handle personal information. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), whether or not the small-business exemption applies to us.
We use personal information only to arrange and deliver our services: running your audit, setting up and operating your AI staff, sending service messages, billing, and support. We send marketing only with your consent, and every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe (Spam Act 2003). We do not sell personal information.
People are always told when they're talking to an AI assistant, and they can ask for a person. Calls are recorded only when set up with a clear notice and consent.
We use reputable service providers to run the service, such as phone/SMS, email, calendar, job-management and AI providers. Some of them may store data outside Australia (for example in the United States). We share only what is needed to provide the service, and we don't otherwise disclose personal information unless the law requires it.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Clients can export or ask us to delete their data.
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@automebiz.com or calling 0490 222 575. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
